IN THIS LESSON

You are your own best teacher.

Kundalini yoga has historically been passed down through oral tradition and lived experience. While many lineages include reverence for teachers, it’s important to differentiate between honouring wisdom and idolizing individuals.

This course does not promote guru culture or put any human being on a pedestal.

This course does not promote guru culture or place any individual on a pedestal. Teachers - myself included - are not perfect or all-knowing. We’re simply guides, sharing tools that have supported our own journey. The real wisdom lives in the practice itself and in your ability to stay present with your own experience.

In kundalini yoga, the mantra Sat Nam means “Truth is my identity.” It’s both a reminder and a responsibility: to stay in tune with your own inner knowing. You won’t find dogma here. Instead, you’ll be invited to stay discerning, curious, and sovereign in your practice. Try what’s offered. Keep what resonates. Leave what doesn’t.

The intention is not to be followed, but to help you return to yourself.
